Meet John & Katie: An absolutely adorable, fun, nice, and sweet couple. I had the opportunity to do Katie’s trial the day of her engagement shoot. I was amazed at how beautiful she is. She is like a real life Barbie doll. It rained the day they got engaged, the day of their engagement party, the day of their engagement shoot, and the day before their wedding and didn’t let it get them down for one second. Thankfully they had a rain-free wedding day. They were wonderful to work with every step of the way!
Throughout their engagement photos and the wedding, John & Katie incorporated John’s Chinese heritage in such a fun and pretty way. They created a beautiful fusion of two cultures while still carrying out their personal style.

Last week, I was so excited to have another chance to do Katie’s makeup for her wedding day at The Ritz Beach Club {Selin Malikoglu was their planner at The Ritz}. Her dress was gorgeous- it showed off her pretty freckles.

Katie’s bridal party were great to work with as well. Everyone was super nice, funny, and just plain fun to be around. I loved doing their makeup.
And check out their flowers! Katie’s bouquet was by the florist at the Ritz, and one of her friends made the bridesmaids’ bouquets. She did such a great job, and she’s not even a florist!

I’m in love with these photos of John & Katie. Rachel Durik from Savor Photography did such a great job on their photos. If you haven’t booked a photographer yet, Rachel s definitely one to check out!
Congratulations John & Katie! I loved working with you two on your special day.
