As promised… this is “Part II” of some of what this past year has looked like for us.
I always jump at the opportunity to work with fashion photographer Mark Drew. I love working with him; he’s such a creative mind. Check out his site: www.markdrewstudio.com. Mark took the next few photos below.
Mark and I had the chance to worked with model Carly Engleton. Carly is from Wilhelmina Models. She’s a gorgeous girl and a great model to work with.

We= Hope, Tania, and Gracey! It’s not just about makeup anymore. Hope Artistry added two new artists to the mix that you’re going to love.
Meet our team
Hope
Hope Henderson is the owner and manager of Hope Artistry LLC. She has been doing makeup for 8 years and has no doubt she chose the right career path.
Hope says “I love every second of being married. My dogs are my children; I have 2- a hound and a mastiff. I am a sucker for reality TV. I have 3 sisters in 3 different parts of the world, California, Argentina, and Italy. I’ve moved 9 times in the past 10 years. What can I say? I like change.”
Tania
Tania Popowicz is one of our makeup artists as well as our manicurist.
“When I was 10 years old I made up my mind that I was going to beauty school, and I did! It’s been 10 years that I have worked in a salon environment . I’ve lived all over the world and grew up in a house filled with music and a very artsy Ukrainian family. I love to create and change things. My opinion is that every women should wear lip gloss. Everyone is in need of a little sparkle!”
Gracey
Gracey Somers has joined the team as another makeup artist and our go-to hair stylist! She has been working in the industry for 4 years.
“Growing up as the youngest of a family full of girls, as well as growing up being involved in theater, hair and makeup had to come naturally. I love people, and I love art, so it just kind of clicked to combine the two. I think there’s nothing as stunning as a woman with a classic old Hollywood look, and red lipstick.”

We are a one-stop shop to make you look and feel fabulously beautiful on your special day {whether that be your wedding, engagement photo shoot, head shots, homecoming, special event or even just the days that you just plain want to feel special}. This past year has been very busy, but very wonderful. There are so many opportunities, memories and changes to catch you up on. So here we go… {yes I said “we”- I’ll catch you up on that too} here’s a quick synopsis of the past few months.
Todd and I took a trip to see my oldest sister Melanie and her family in California!
{isn’t she so beautiful?!}
I stumbled upon Golden Gate Park the location that “Wedding Planner” {with J.lo and Matthew McConaughey} was filmed. I’ve seen this movie at least 700 times. Okay so maybe not that many but a lot.
We met John Vanderslice and got a tour of his studio. Todd gets the props for this one. We ended up hanging out there for a few hours. If you don’t know who John Vanderslice is… prepare for your ears to be tickled. Check out his site: here! I recommend his song: White Dove
We got to stay at The Fairmont in San Francisco. Brides, here’s a tip… if you know someone with connections, just ask. It never hurts to ask. We ended up getting to stay in a suite at The Fairmont for an extremely discounted rate because we knew someone who’s brother is in management. It was fabulous!
I did American Idol Season 9 Contestant, Paige Miles’ makeup for a photo shoot and benefit show. She was so sweet, and is so talented!
